Arlington, VA, October 1, 2023 - Response AI Solutions, LLC (RAI) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Global Emergency Response, Inc. (GER), formerly a division of Central Research, Inc. The acquisition brings GER's emergency response software platforms under the RAI family of companies, adding a differentiating technology layer to RAI's federal services offerings.
GER was formed in 2004 to close a gap identified in the aftermath of September 11, 2001: the flow of information from the scene of an incident to hospitals and emergency management organizations. Since then, GER's flagship platform, HC Standard, has been deployed in support of hurricanes, mass casualty incidents, and large-scale public health responses, giving healthcare personnel, first responders, and emergency managers a common operating picture when timely, accurate information matters most. That two-decade track record, spanning patient tracking, patient placement, decedent tracking, and shelter operations support, is now part of RAI's past performance base.
"This acquisition is about more than adding a subsidiary. It's about pairing RAI's operational and logistics track record with software that has already been proven in the field, GER brings twenty years of real-world deployment history in emergency technology and shelter management. That's the kind of past performance our government customers want to see."
GER will continue to operate under its own name as a wholly owned subsidiary of RAI, retaining its CAGE code and existing customer relationships while gaining access to RAI's contract vehicles, business development resources, and expeditionary logistics expertise.
The acquisition positions RAI to pursue a broader range of federal opportunities that require both physical response capabilities and purpose-built technology, particularly in emergency management, shelter operations, and expeditionary operations.
Response AI Solutions will continue to invest in GER's platforms as part of its long-term strategy to build an integrated, technology-enabled emergency response and logistics company.
